|Arts Guild New Jersey provides a wide range of regular programming throughout the year. In addition we have presented, produced or hosted SPECIAL EVENTS in each season of activities. The Special Events include Arts or Cultural seminars, lectures or presentations that are open to the public, art lovers and artists of all kinds. They provide both educational and cultural/artistic content and can range from independent films to art history talks to other services that can help artists in their careers or be informative to the general public. Past events have included: ‘Bedside Harp’, a program that showed the use of harp music in hospitals as a means to ease the healing of patients, the Indie Film Series, Use of Internet as a Tool For Artists and many others.It is a part of our mission to promote the value of the Arts to the general public and these events are a part of that guiding principle.|

Artie Shaw, to name a few – “Lady Day” (Holiday) recorded over 100 songs from the 1930’s -50’s until her untimely death at the age of 44. Holiday’s masterpieces are as well known today as they were decades ago, and her “poignant voice is still considered to be one of the greatest jazz voices of all time.” (billyholiday.com)
